Movement Flow and Why We Need It

This movement playground session aims to reintroduce you to fun, yet challenging exercises, transitions and progressions that can be performed anywhere, anytime. From dynamic warm-ups and corrective maintenance, to improving overall health, functionality, fitness and performance, you’ll learn how to deliver results for the average Joe to the world-class pro in fun, unique ways.

- Describe key benefits associated with movement.
- Discuss the body’s stress response and need for recovery.
- Explain the relationship between stability and mobility throughout the kinetic chain.
- Demonstrate movements that target the body’s mobile segments or joints.
- Implement a variety of fun yet challenging movement patterns, transitions and progressions for movement efficiency and cardiorespiratory conditioning.
- Provide feedback on form and technique and how to modify movements as needed.
