Elizabeth Lenart, MEd, has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She is the owner of Studio E Fitness in West Springfield, Massachusetts. She Elizabeth holds a Master's degree in educational psychology. She is both Program Director and Master Trainer for Balletone. She is a Master Trainer for Tabata Bootcamp and Barre Above. She is a Senior Master Trainer for BOSU and Surge Performance Fitness.
Learning Objectives
- Define the term HIIT, or high-intensity interval training.
- Differentiate between a Tabata@trade; workout and 20:10 timing.
- Explain the term monster set.
- Implement class plans for both freestyle and prechoreographed formats.
- Design exercise plans that can be used for multiple sessions.
- Modify class plans using variables such as speed, range of motion (ROM), work and recovery durations, load and intensity.
