Curls in the Squat Rack
Trainers can sometimes choose exercises that aren’t ideal for their clients. They might be unsafe or simply not the most effective options. Let’s explore the biomechanics of eleven common exercises that may not be executed appropriately or are just unsuitable for most clients. Examine eleven alternative exercise choices that are safer and more biomechanically effective. Enhance your client’s program design by understanding and applying these movement insights. Learn how to avoid common exercise pitfalls, better serve your clients’ needs and goals, and support your clients in making the best exercise choices for them.
This course is designed to provide personal trainers with a clear rationale on exercise selection protocols for their clients. Exercise selection should be appropriate for each individual client and effective in accomplishing each client's goals. Basic biomechanical information is included as part of this course to explain the reasons why certain exercises are safer and more effective than others in most situations. This course is intended for personal trainers who are relatively new to the field (less than 3 years of experience) and those who may not have been exposed to this type of information during their preparation for the profession. Additionally, this course is designed for the veteran personal trainer looking to add a few tricks of the trade to their toolbox.
