
Intro to Multiple Sclerosis for Fitness and Wellness Professionals
Join Emily Reilly, adaptive fitness trainer and person living with multiple sclerosis (MS), to learn about this disease that impacts over 1 million people in the U.S. In this course, you will learn safe and effective modifications for the various symptoms and better understand how to help your clients living with MS so they know that "no matter what their limitation, they CAN keep moving!"

Emily Reilly BA, ACSM CPT, AFAA GFI
Emily Reilly is a certified group fitness instructor, personal trainer, and chronic disease fitness specialist. She has over 13 years of public speaking, and over 8 years of experience creating and teaching adaptive fitness classes for those living with MS. The MS community is near and dear to Emily since she herself was diagnosed at the age of 17. Her goal is to make fitness accessible for all levels of ability and help educate other fitness professionals on how to do the same.

- Understand who MS affects and how it develops.
- Learn how MS is diagnosed and describe the types of MS and symptoms.
- Discuss how to use exercise and physical activity for people with MS.
